She is president of the Mexican Diabetes Association since 2013, from which she has generated strategic alliances for the implementation of health programs in public and private institutions focused on the prevention and control of diabetes mellitus through timely detection, education and comprehensive and interdisciplinary treatment. She is also a therapist in systemic configurations and a diabetes educator.
D. in Education, Communication and Business from the University of Catalonia, Spain. She studied the D1 Program at the Instituto de Alta Dirección de Empresas, IPADE. She has a Master's degree in Pedagogy from the Universidad Panamericana. She has a degree in Institutional Administration from ESDAI and has participated in various courses, congresses and seminars. She is currently Director of the Department of Postgraduate Studies and External Training and Consulting at ESDAI.
He is Executive President of FunSalud (Mexican Health Foundation) and President of the Health Information Technology Promotion Council of FunSalud. Previously, he served as General Director of IMS Health, a market research and health consultancy company. He is a founding partner of INNOVASALUD. He has been a member of the Council of the National Chamber of the Pharmaceutical Industry, the Mexican Association of Pharmaceutical Research Laboratories, the American Group of Pharmaceutical Laboratories; the AMAI (Mexican Association of Market Research and Public Opinion Agencies), the ITESM, Mexico City Campus.
He is Director de Licitaciones en BD and has more than 20 years of experience in market research projects, process evaluation, strategy definition and evaluation, business plan development, service innovation, operational budgeting, negotiation model design and scenario building for decision making in various public and private organizations. Ignacio has advised and collaborated in institutions of different segments such as hospital, pharmaceutical, medical equipment and government.
He has a degree in Graphic Communication from La Salle University, a master's degree in Positive Strategic Leadership from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid (IE) and multiple diplomas in various specialities. He is a humanist leader who, throughout 15 years of experience as General Director in Grupo Vitalmex, has promoted a business model with a revolutionary value proposal that has positively impacted the health sector in Mexico, Chile, the United States and Germany.
He is a senior consultant to the Health Sector. He has a doctorate in public administration from the Universidad Anáhuac with a thesis on "Health Clusters", the case of the Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI. He is a Senior Partner at Price Waterhouse Coopers and has worked in Mexico, the United States and Latin America. With more than 35 years of experience in business consulting, he is currently focused on relevant and transformational solutions in the various branches of the health sector such as pharmaceuticals, devices, service providers, pharmacies and medical insurance in the public and private sectors.
He is a midwife surgeon graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, with a specialty in radiology at the same university. He has a fellowship in ultrasound from the University of Toronto. He also has a diploma in management improvement from IPADE. He is currently Director of Expansion of TecSalud, Health System of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. As CEO of Swiss Hospital he has directed the construction of a hospital from its planning as well as the definition of the business model, selection of medical technology, definition of processes and operation.
